First Reflection

I wanted to work towards understanding the different roles that men and women have in society and how this is further reinforced by the media that we consume. The way that I chose this topic was very interesting. In daily life, I notice how men and women have stringently different roles in society and how we are constantly stuck in this cycle, no matter how hard we try to ‘modernize’ ourselves. So I decided to go with this topic, since I felt that it will help me understand the society in a much better way. Once I started doing the initial research, I found that there was so much information on this topic and that this information would help me research this topic well. So I decided that I would first work on gathering relevant information on this topic, and then I would start working on it. this worked very well for me and I can safely say that I was very happy with my topic choice. I hope to be able to have findings towards the end that can help me have very ideal implications for the society this way.
