Describe your real-life situation:

In most low income countries of the world, we can see that child labour is widespread. These countries have very low costs of labor mainly due to this reason. People from poorer places send their children to work for a very meager pay which makes them earn some money for the family. Companies world over like Nike are famous from these practices and have also been called out on various forums due to this. The idea is to explore these practices and understand why this is bad.

What are the adverse effects of child labour in low-income countries?

Explain the connection between your real-life situation and your knowledge question:

All over the world, people are now more and more aware of how child labour is bad and how it is affecting the way that things are working. So the idea is to explore child labour more and understand how different brands as big as Nike take advantage of this with the main aim being to reduce their labour costs. Even despite there being so many strict regulations about this, companies do not understand this is the best way and they continue to work towards this. So the idea is to create more awareness around this so that people understand why this is bad and how this works. The idea is to make sure that this stops happening on the whole and that fair labor practices are there. This will help make the labour situation in the whole world much better, which is highly crucial to the development towards healthier practices.

The idea is to give many examples of companies that have adopted these child labor practices for their own benefit. The examples will also show how they have had to pay hefty fines and lawsuits as well due to this. Ideally, children should be made to go to school and get an education. This is the last thing that they should be doing. So, this is how the argument will develop, highlighting how this is done and how this can be controlled as well.

So from here we can see how this affects the way that people work. The idea is to transform the situation in terms of having lesser child labour instances so that people understand the situation much better and so that we move towards healthier work practices all over the world.
