Getting a degree from Boston University would indeed open up so many career options for me globally, owing to the fact that the University is one that is widely recognized. Research is the cornerstone of the University. The University is committed to producing high-quality research by also having its students become a part of the University’s research program. The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program connects students with faculty members from different disciplines like humanities and natural sciences, where then students and faculty members together work on research projects. Research is an area that I have always been interested in, and so I believe that this will be a golden opportunity for me to partake in such programs and also polish my research skills.
Apart from that, getting real-world experience is also something that can easily be done whilst one’s time at Boston University. There are so many students across the country. Getting in touch with them can open doors to exciting networking opportunities, which can be a great chance to secure an interesting position in one’s area of study. I personally love interacting with new people and making new friends, and I believe Boston University will give me the chance to do just that. I have always been someone who is extremely career-oriented. My parents are working professionals and have always stressed the importance of making a career in one’s area of interest. The fact that recruiters and CEOs rank Boston University graduates at number 14 in the US for employability further adds to making Boston University my top choice for higher studies.
When a person is at University, they are practically spending a huge part of their lives in one city, and so I believe that it is important for one to be in a city that they really like. I personally love Boston City. It is one where everyone is so amiable, alongside having a very rich history and culture. Every time I come to Boston, I love spending time here with such great people. The residential campus at Boston University is also great since there are people from many different living communities. I believe that all of these factors have greatly contributed to making Boston University a top choice for me. I really hope to get accepted here.
